Duties and responsibilities will entail carrying out practical demonstration relating to crop production, accompanying extension teams during farm visits and farmer training, participating in field days and agricultural shows that disseminate crops production technologies and information, collecting and collating crops data and information for gross margins, market access and planning, participating in collaborative research activities, collecting crops inputs and products samples for analysis, and advising farmers on group formation, construction of farm structures and equipment;

Terms Of Service: Permanent;Job Summary: This is the entry and training grade into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior. Duties and responsibilities will entail inspecting development of irrigation infrastructure collecting baseline data for irrigation planning, organizing farmers meeting for irrigation technology development training irrigation farmers on suitable scheme management and resources mobilization identifying sites for irrigation technology demonstration plots irrigation for development;

Terms Of Service: Permanent;Job Summary: Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail; Irrigation systems site in the County; Design and develop BQs for irrigation dams, pans and pipelines; Carry out identification of suitable irrigation sites in the County; Design feasibility test of irrigation water and soils; Calculate crop water requirements for various irrigated crops; Any other activity related to irrigation in the County;

Terms Of Service: Permanent;Job Summary: This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail carrying out practical demonstration relating to livestock production, accompanying extension teams during farm visits and farmer training, participating in field days and agricultural shows that disseminate livestock production technologies and information, collecting and collating livestock data and information for gross margins, market access and planning, participating in collaborative research activities, collecting livestock inputs and products samples for analysis, and advising farmers on group formation, construction of farm structures and equipment.;

Terms Of Service: Permanent;Job Summary: This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail collecting data and information, doing extension work during farm visits and farmer trainings, participating in field days and agricultural shows that disseminate livestock production technologies and carrying out practical demonstrations on livestock production technologies and techniques. ;

Terms Of Service: Permanent;Job Summary: This entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a more experienced officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: carrying out simple treatment of animals; participating in disease search and reporting; demonstrating on milking techniques and external parasite control techniques such as dipping, spraying and dusting; carrying out vaccination; and undertaking closed castration, dehorning, de-worming, disbudding, docking, debeaking and hoof trimming.;

Terms Of Service: Permanent;Job Summary: This will be the entry and training grade into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer to undertake disease control activities such as disease search, vaccination and enforcement of livestock movement regulations; participating in the training of stakeholders in vector control programmes; treating sick animals; advising on good veterinary practices; collecting' data and preparing reports on animal health, products and markets; providing advise on animal breeding and welfare; and undertaking postmortem examination and other diagnostic tests.;
