Job Summary:

JOB GROUP 'H'

Duties And Responsibilities:

1. Undertaking preventive maintenance and repairs of basic medical equipment, general plants and instruments,
2. Ordering for spare parts and consumables;
3. Taking/maintaining inventory of medical/hospital equipment, furniture and plants;
4. Collecting and collating information for research;
5. Collecting and collating information on medical engineering services for input into the Integrated Health Information Management System;
6. Carrying out minor repairs of health facilities and utilities;
7. Implementing medical engineering programmes and projects

Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Medical Engineering or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
2. Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
