Job Summary:

The County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons on permanent and pensionable terms to fill in the following positions for the Office of County Attorney.

Duties And Responsibilities:

1. Drafting of court pleadings
2. Drafting bills, regulations, by-laws and policies

iii. Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on legal documents, agreements, contracts and MoUs for and on behalf of the County Government and its agencies

1. Advising on legal matters, ensuring compliance with statutes, regulations and procedures; reporting on various issues affecting the County
2. undertaking research on assigned legal issues and analyzing research data and compiling reports

 

Qualifications:

Requirements for Appointment For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:-

• Bachelors of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized institution;
• Certificate in computer application skills.
• Meet the requirements of chapter six of the constitution
• Exhibit thorough understanding of legal aspects of land, public administration and devolution
