Karuwa Tsiwezi Kuloha

Mrs Karuwa studied her degree BED (Arts) in Education at the University of Nairobi. She holds a Teachers Training P1certificate from Kaimosi Teachers Training. Additionally, she undertook other courses namely Primary School Management (PRISM), Value lead dairy- practitioners and Education communities of practice (ECOP).
She has over 10 years experience in administration having been a Ward Administrator for Ndavaya ward in Kwale County from November 2013 through 2023. The duties carried out involved Coordinating , Management and supervision of general administrative functions,
developing administrative related plans and policies, ensuring effective service delivery within the Ward, developing activities to empower the community, maintain infrastructure and facilities , facilitating and coordinating citizen public participation and ensure service delivery .
She gained skills such as public relations and communication, strategic planning and implementation, policy analysis and development, team leadership and management, government relations and stakeholder engagement, budgeting and resource management to help me take up this position.
Mebakari Ali Mwatabu
Chief Officer - County Public Service & Administration
Mebakari Ali Mwatabu is a Special Needs Education teacher by profession. She went to different institutions in Kenya including Kenya Institute of Special Needs Education in Nairobi and Kenyatta University. Mwatabu has vast experience in supervising administrators in implementation of curriculum for both regular and special needs institutions in different areas in Kwale county. She is a collaborator and team player as witnessed in working with Girl Child Network, Aga Khan Foundation, Plan International Kenya, Kids Care among others as a consultant and facilitator in implementing community and Education Programs.
Mwatabu joined the County government of Kwale in mid-2021 as a Chief Officer after voluntary retirement from Teachers Service Commission. She gained one and half years’ experience and was appointed for the second time as a chief officer in April 2023. She is a dedicated administrator and ready to serve the public. She ensured the implementation and delivery of the education curriculum and now ready to ensure delivery of quality public administrative services to the citizens of Kwale county under the County stewardship of the Governor.
