Governor Commissions SabaSaba Borehole to Combat Water Scarcity in Matuga
oday, I joined community members to officially commission the SabaSaba borehole in the Waa/Ng'ombeni ward of Matuga Sub-County during Hafla event held at Madrastul Firdhaus Islamia. This initiative is a significant step toward providing clean and reliable water to the residents of SabaSaba, Chigongoni, and surrounding areas, effectively addressing the ongoing issue of water scarcity. My administration is fully committed to improving water infrastructure by drilling additional boreholes in Matuga and Msambweni sub-counties. This commitment reflects our government's promise to ensure that residents have consistent access to clean water. I am also actively advancing plans to expand pipeline networks for more efficient water distribution throughout the county. Additionally, we will construct more dams in Kinango and parts of Lunga Lunga to support irrigation efforts and promote food self-sufficiency. Key officials were in attendance, including CECM for Water Hemed Mwabudzo, CECM for Education Mishi Kaole, County Attorney Salim Gombeni, and Chief Officer of Lands Neema Suya, all united in support of these vital efforts. #MamaYukoKazin
