This afternoon, I had the honor of hosting the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Kithure Kindiki, during his inspection of the ongoing construction of the KPA Shimoni Fish Port located in Shimoni, Lunga Lunga sub-county, Kwale County. The Deputy President's visit was prompted by the President's directive to complete the KPA Shimoni Fish Port project by March of this year. His presence was aimed at accelerating the ongoing work to meet the President's deadline. I strongly appreciate the President's initiative, as it is a pivotal move that will ensure the swift completion of Shimoni Port and create essential job opportunities for the people of Kwale.
