President William Ruto together with Governor Fatuma Achani will on Thursday 2nd November, 2023 officially commission the Wasini/Mkwiro Solar hybrid mini-grid project and the 2.6 Billion Shimoni Fishing Port project in Lunga Lunga constituency. The projects will enhance access to electrification in Wasini Island and improve the livelihoods of the local community living in Shimoni and Kwale County as a whole.
