Diani Municipality was able to make progress in project implementation in the reporting period as outlined below: Infrastructural development – Diani Municipality has implemented two roads namely: Cabro paving, drainage construction, and culvert installation to areas of heavy flooding to Odessa - Matumizi - Mama Betty road in Gombato Bongwe ward and Cabro paving of Kona Msa to beach road in Ukunda ward Street Lighting – The project was not implemented due to a lack of funding for the project. Solid waste management – Diani Municipality is implementing the Construction of a 4 door  public toilet at Zote Beach in the Waa/Ngombeni ward Urban planning and development – Diani Municipality was unable to implement the Bus park project due to lack of funding. The Municipality is in the process of undertaking Installation of Municipality Billboards Boundary at Mvindeni
